The New Flaevo Home: One Card for the Course That Matters Today
The old Home gave you a lot of things to look at. The question a student opens the app with is much smaller: what should I study right now?
Flaevo 1.2.0 redesigns Home around that question.
One card for the course that matters
At the top of Home is one big card. It shows the course that matters today, how ready you are for it, and one Continue button.
Flaevo picks the course in this order:
- a session in your planner that starts within two hours,
- otherwise the course with the nearest exam,
- otherwise the course you studied last.
A folder counts as one course, so a semester of five handouts in one folder is one card, not five.
If you do not want what it picked, everything else is still on Home. You just no longer have to decide before you start.
Flae and her streak fire
Flae sits over the card, and she now speaks only when your streak is at stake. The rest of the time she stays out of your way.
When you have studied today, she stands in her streak fire. If your streak is 3 days or more, she also does her celebration leap with confetti, once a day, and then waves from in front of the fire. It is a small reward for the thing that matters: showing up.
On tablets, Home uses two columns, and there is a Flae tab in the top bar.
Rename a course without losing anything
You can now rename any course or folder from its page. "Chem notes final" can become "Organic Chemistry".
Its flashcards, quiz scores and Ready % move with it. Before, a clearer name would have meant starting again.
When the AI is busy
Flae's answers come from an AI service, and now and then it is overloaded, usually when many students study at once, such as the evening before an exam. In 1.2.0, when that happens Flae answers through a backup instead of showing an error.
A few honest fixes
- The upgrade prompts now say plainly what a plan includes.
- Exporting your data now includes everything, not only the newest rows.
- Images shown inside answers only load from Flaevo's own sources.
- Colours have a fallback on older phones.
Getting it
The new Home is in Flaevo 1.2.0. Update from the Play Store, or download the latest APK from flaevoapp.com.

No. Open the course or folder and rename it. Its cards and quiz scores move with it, and its Ready % stays.

What happens when Flae's AI is busy?
Flae now answers through a backup instead of failing. You may not notice anything except that she replied.
